Nectarine trees are a type of peach tree, differing only slightly in their genes, providing delicious free-stoned fruit and an attractive and pleasing tree. The medium sized fruit has a red skin with yellowish flesh that is sweet in flavor and a favorite for eating. The skin is smooth and shiny. The tree is also ornamental with attractive foliage and pink blossoms in the spring. Fast grower.
